Cambricon Technologies Corporation Limited engages in the research, development, design, and sale of core AI chips for terminal devices in China. The company offers cloud-based intelligent chips and boards, intelligent complete machines, edge intelligence chips and boards, and related supporting basic system software. It also provides smart accelerator cards, including the Siyuan 370 and Siyuan 270 series; intelligent computing modules comprising the Siyuan 220 module; terminal intelligent processor IP, which consists of Cambricon-1M and Cambricon-1H; and software development platforms, such as the Cambricon NeuWare and MagicMind. The company was founded in 2016 and is based in Beijing, China.

Cambricon Technologies Corporation Limited was founded in March 2016 and is based in Beijing, China. It first introduced terminal intelligent processor IP such as Cambricon-1A, 1H and 1M, whose IP has been integrated into more than 100 million smartphones and other smart terminals, and later launched cloud products including the Siyuan 100, 270, 290 and 370 series. It listed on the STAR Market on July 20, 2020 at an issue price of 64.39 yuan, closing the first day at 212.4 yuan, and was added to the U.S. Entity List in December 2022. In 2025 revenue reached 6.497 billion yuan, up 453.21% year over year, with net profit attributable to the parent of 2.059 billion yuan, the company's first full-year profit; it removed the "U" mark from its stock abbreviation in March 2026 and paid its first dividend in May 2026. Chen Tianshi serves as chairman and general manager.

Cambricon is a Chinese AI chip design company and one of the very few pure AI chip design names listed on China's A-share market, operating a fabless model in the semiconductor industry with about 1,107 employees and holding 693 patents, of which 239 are overseas. Its most comparable listed peer is Hygon Information rather than NVIDIA or AMD. According to IDC data cited by Reuters for China's 2025 AI accelerator server market, domestic GPU/AI chipmakers held roughly 41% share, with Cambricon and Hygon each shipping about 116,000 cards and Huawei leading the domestic camp. Competitors including Moore Threads, MetaX and Enflame are advancing their own public listings.
