The company has paid a quarterly dividend since 1916 and in 2026 reached its 31st consecutive year of raising the quarterly dividend, to $1.69 per share. Arvind Krishna has served as CEO since 2020. Since 2019 IBM has pursued sustained acquisitions, including nine acquisitions in 2023, eleven in 2024, HashiCorp (about $7.433 billion) in 2025, and Confluent (about $11.59 billion) in 2026.
