In addition, the company offers systems assembly, test, direct-order fulfillment, and configure-to-order services. It serves 5G, wireless and cloud, digital print and retail, industrial and semi-cap, networking and storage, automotive and transportation, connected devices, healthcare and packaging, and mobility industries. Jabil Inc. was formerly known as Jabil Circuit, Inc. and changed its name to Jabil Inc. in June 2017. The company was founded in 1966 and is based in Saint Petersburg, Florida.

In recent years Jabil has reshaped its portfolio, including the divestiture of its Mobility business in 2024, the disposal of its Italy operations in 2025, and the acquisitions of Hanley Energy and Rebound Technologies in the first half of FY2026. Michael Dastoor has served as CEO since May 2024, having previously been CFO and a member of the company since 2000. Jabil has aggressively reduced its share count, from 153.5 million shares at the end of 2019 to 131.3 million at the end of 2023 and 107.5 million at the end of 2025.
