1. First subscription — 14-day money-back
If this is your first paid membership purchase and you are not satisfied, email contact@zh.app within 14 days of the purchase and we will refund the payment in full. Because membership gives immediate access to digital content and services, by subscribing you request immediate supply; we honour this 14-day money-back commitment in place of the statutory cooling-off mechanics for digital content under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
2. Renewals
Subscriptions renew automatically. If you meant to cancel but were charged for a renewal, contact us within 14 days of the renewal charge: if member-only benefits have not been used since that charge, we will refund the renewal in full. Otherwise renewals are non-refundable, but you can cancel future renewals at any time.
3. How to cancel
Cancel anytime from your account page or the Stripe customer portal. Cancellation stops future charges; you keep member access until the end of the period already paid. Cancelling does not by itself trigger a refund.
4. How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to the original payment method via Stripe, normally within 5–10 business days of approval. We may decline refund requests that show a pattern of abuse (for example repeated subscribe-and-refund cycles).
5. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy reduces your non-waivable statutory rights as a consumer, including rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 if a digital service is faulty.
