In 2020, the company recognized a $6.6 billion legal accrual related to opioid matters. Formerly known as AmerisourceBergen Corporation, it changed its name to Cencora, Inc. in August 2023. In 2026, to fund the OneOncology transaction, the company issued $3 billion of senior notes and a $1.5 billion term loan.
