The Forged Wheels segment offers forged aluminum wheels and related products for heavy-duty trucks and commercial transportation markets. The company was formerly known as Arconic Inc. Howmet Aerospace Inc. was founded in 1888 and is based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Howmet Aerospace Inc. was founded in 1888 and is based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The company was formerly known as Arconic Inc., and was spun off as a standalone company on April 1, 2020. Its listing dates to an IPO of January 2, 1962. In 2026 it completed the acquisition of CAM for $1.8 billion (closed April 6, 2026), strengthening its aerospace fastener portfolio, and it also acquired Brunner as a smaller adjacent addition to its Fastening Systems business.
