As a "total beverage company," it manufactures and sells nonalcoholic beverages in the United States and internationally, with products sold in more than 200 countries and territories. It operates through a network of independent bottling partners, distributors, wholesalers, and retailers, earning through both a concentrate/syrup business sold to authorized bottlers and a finished-goods business. In December 2025, the company announced that Henrique Braun, who joined Coca-Cola in 1996, would become CEO on March 31, 2026, with James Quincey moving to executive chairman.

Coca-Cola is a global beverage leader; beverages bearing its trademarks account for about 2.2 billion of the roughly 65 billion beverage servings consumed worldwide each day. According to Euromonitor, the global soft drink market reached about $1.1 trillion in retail value in 2024 with retail volume growing about 3%, and Coca-Cola maintains roughly a 17% share of global soft drink retail volume, remaining the global leader. In 2025, its concentrate business contributed 59% of net operating revenue and the finished-goods business 41%, with full-year organic revenue up 5% (4% from price/mix).
