In 2011 it launched a share repurchase program; from the program's start through April 29, 2026, it had cumulatively repurchased about 1.48 billion shares (split-adjusted) of common stock for roughly USD 28.61 billion, at an average cost of about USD 19.38 per share, with around USD 1.14 billion of authorization remaining.
