Over the decade from 2016 to 2025, the company scaled substantially, with net premiums written growing from $23.354 billion in 2016 to $83.174 billion in 2025, and total policies in force expanding from roughly 16.467 million in 2016 to 38.619 million at year-end 2025.

Based on 2024 premiums written, it is the second-largest U.S. private passenger auto insurer (behind State Farm), the largest motorcycle insurer, and among the largest commercial auto insurers. In 2025 it wrote $83.174 billion in net premiums ($72.558 billion personal, $10.613 billion commercial); personal auto was split roughly 42% agency and 58% direct, distributed through over 40,000 independent agencies plus online and phone channels.
