Arista Networks, Inc. engages in the development, marketing, and sale of data-driven, client to cloud networking solutions for AI, data center, campus, and routing environments in the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the Asia-Pacific. Revenue grew from $2.948 billion in 2021 to $9.006 billion in 2025, and in 2025 it acquired the VeloCloud business for cash consideration of $300 million.

Arista is a leader in high-end Ethernet data center switching, built around its Extensible Operating System (EOS) software stack. Dell'Oro reported that Arista retained total Ethernet data center switching market leadership in 2025, and per IDC about 90.9% of its switch revenue came from the data center in Q1 2025, giving it roughly 13.9% of total switch market revenue. It competes with Cisco, HPE, Juniper, NVIDIA, Extreme, and white-box vendors, and in AI back-end networks Ethernet also competes with InfiniBand and NVLink. Most manufacturing is outsourced to Jabil, Sanmina, and Foxconn, with switch chips mainly from Broadcom.
