Over the past two years the company sharpened its portfolio by divesting non-core businesses, including Air Distribution Technologies, its Residential & Light Commercial HVAC business, and ADT Mexico. A new CEO, Joakim Weidemanis, took office in 2025. In August 2025 the company launched a $5 billion accelerated share repurchase, completed at an average price of about $114.43 per share.
