It operates through three reporting segments: Concerts, Ticketing, and Sponsorship & Advertising, with the Ticketing operations conducted through platforms including livenation.com and ticketmaster.com. The company owns, operates, or leases entertainment venues, and as of the end of 2024 it owned, operated, leased, or had exclusive booking rights to about 284 venues in North America, including 66 amphitheaters in the United States, while managing more than 380 artists. 業界での地位
Live Nation Entertainment operates across the full live-entertainment value chain, combining concert promotion, venue control, ticketing, and sponsorship into a vertically integrated platform where promotion, venues, ticketing, and sponsorship cross-feed one another. The company describes Ticketmaster as a global leader in live entertainment ticketing sales and marketing measured by ticket volume, and in 2025 it served about 159 million live attendees and sold about 346 million fee-bearing tickets. Within the Concerts segment, scale does not translate directly into profit: 2025 Concerts revenue of about 20.86 billion USD generated operating income of only about 85.5 million USD, an operating margin of about 0.4% and an AOI margin of about 3.3%, while the Ticketing and Sponsorship businesses are higher-margin, with Ticketing AOI of about 1.124 billion USD and Sponsorship & Advertising AOI of about 764 million USD in 2024, and Ticketing and Sponsorship AOI margins of about 33.4% and 63.6% respectively in the first quarter of 2026. Its network spans about 284 North American venues (including 66 US amphitheaters) and more than 380 managed artists as of the end of 2024. Principal competitors include AEG Presents in live promotion and CTS Eventim as the closest listed live-entertainment platform peer, while the company has historically disclosed ticketing and secondary-market competitors such as AXS, Paciolan, SeatGeek, Eventbrite, StubHub, and Vivid Seats; live promotion, primary ticketing, and secondary ticketing are distinct markets. In 2024 the U.S. Department of Justice sued the company over alleged monopolization across multiple markets in the live-music value chain, and in April 2026 a New York jury found Live Nation and Ticketmaster to have unlawfully monopolized ticketing- and promotion-related markets, with remedies not yet finalized.
