沿革
Texas Instruments Incorporated was founded in 1930 and is headquartered in Dallas, Texas. It designs, manufactures, and sells semiconductors to electronics designers and manufacturers in the United States, China, the rest of Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Japan, and internationally, operating through its Analog and Embedded Processing segments. The company has shifted toward direct sales, raising direct revenue from about one-third in 2019 to over 80% in 2025, and from 2004 to 2025 it raised its dividend for 22 consecutive years while reducing its share count by 47%.
業界での地位
Texas Instruments is a leading supplier in the analog and embedded processing markets, which it describes as highly fragmented. Per Gartner, 2024 global analog and mixed-signal semiconductor revenue fell 4.2% year over year to $79.7 billion, with Texas Instruments remaining No. 1. In 2025, about 95% of its revenue came from analog and embedded products and about 75% from industrial, automotive, and data center markets, backed by more than 80,000 products, over 100,000 customers, and self-owned manufacturing where unpackaged 300mm chips cost about 40% less than on 200mm. Main competitors include Analog Devices, NXP, Microchip, onsemi, Infineon, STMicroelectronics, and Renesas.
