업계 내 위치
CBRE describes itself as the global leader in commercial real estate services and investment, ranking first worldwide in leasing, property sales, outsourcing, property management, and valuation, and is one of the largest commercial real estate developers in the United States; its investment management business holds AUM of more than 155 billion USD. By both revenue and market capitalization it sits clearly at the top of its peer group: in 2025 CBRE generated 40.55 billion USD in revenue versus 26.116 billion USD for Jones Lang LaSalle and 10.288 billion USD for Cushman & Wakefield, and as of 2026-05-22 its market capitalization was about 38.9 billion USD versus roughly 13.9 billion for JLL, 3.0 billion for Cushman & Wakefield (CWK), and 3.7 billion for Newmark (NMRK); other competitors include Colliers. Its differentiation rests on global delivery scale, brand, a large-account client network, and execution capability rather than a single patent, with high switching costs concentrated in multi-year outsourcing, facilities management, project management, and global large-account services. Newer demand is contributing growth: in the first quarter of 2026 critical infrastructure services revenue rose 71% year over year, including strong Data Center Solutions growth, and the company disclosed a multi-year data center technical talent training program related to Meta.
