Quanta Computer Inc. manufactures, processes, and sells laptop computers and telecommunication products in the United States, Mainland China, the Netherlands, Japan, and internationally. The company provides notebook PCs; servers, storage devices, and network switches; cameras, including automotive camera, camera module, and AI dash-cam and ADAS solutions; and smart healthcare solutions. It also offers mobile computing solutions for the wireless communication of notebook PCs, wireless local area network peripherals, wireless multimedia devices, and wireless information home appliances; and cloud computing and enterprise network solutions for private or hybrid clouds, as well as home entertainment and smart home solutions, including home media centers; smart touch input systems for laptops, desktops, and thin client terminals; smart IoT controllers and sensors; smart speakers; and private servers for home. In addition, the company provides IoT solutions; central office solutions for telecommunication; smart manufacturing and factory solutions; and AR/VR display and smart glasses solutions. The company was incorporated in 1988 and is headquartered in Taoyuan City, Taiwan.

Quanta Computer was incorporated in 1988 by Lin Baili and Liang Cizhen with an initial capital of NT$30 million, and listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange in January 1999. In 2001 it became the world's largest notebook ODM, a position it held for more than twenty years. In 2012 it established the wholly-owned subsidiary QCT (Quanta Cloud Technology) for cloud server manufacturing, and from 2023 it transformed into the world's second-largest AI server full-rack ODM, building NVIDIA GB200/GB300 racks. The company is headquartered in Taoyuan City, Taiwan.

Quanta is one of the world's leading electronics ODM/EMS makers and the world's second-largest AI server full-rack ODM, ranking behind Foxconn (2317). It is one of only about four to five ODMs certified for NVIDIA Blackwell racks, with clients including Google, Meta and AWS. Under a 2026 April count of NVIDIA GB200/GB300 racks, Quanta shipped about 2,100 racks for second place, versus Foxconn's roughly 3,700 racks. By 2026 Q1 servers made up over 80% of consolidated revenue, with notebooks below 15%; Taiwanese peers include Wistron (3231), Wiwynn (6669) and Inventec (2356).
