More recently it expanded its professional-distribution capabilities through acquisitions, with the SRS transaction valued at about $18.028 billion and the GMS transaction at about $5.081 billion; following the SRS purchase it suspended share repurchases beginning in March 2024 to prioritize debt reduction.
