The firm provides its services to retail clients, institutional clients, high-net worth clients, public entities, corporations, unions, non-profit organizations, endowments, foundations, pension funds, financial institutions, and sovereign wealth funds. It manages separate client-focused equity and fixed income portfolios. The firm also launches equity, commodity, fixed income, multi-asset, and balanced mutual funds for its clients. It also invests in short term and intermediate term bonds, investment grade and high yield bonds, taxable and tax-free bonds, senior secured loans, and structured securities such as asset-backed securities, mortgage-backed securities, and commercial mortgage-backed securities. Invesco is a global independent asset management company founded in 1935 and headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, with additional offices across Asia, Europe, Africa and North America. The firm has operated under several former names, including AMVESCAP plc, Amvesco plc, Invesco MIM, and H. Lotery & Co. Ltd. It went public on August 24, 1995. Over time it built a localized presence in more than 20 countries, serving clients in over 120 countries, and now manages a multi-capability platform spanning mutual funds, ETFs, index strategies, fixed income, active equity, private credit, real estate, multi-asset and money market products. A key recent milestone was the conversion of its QQQ product from a unit investment trust (UIT) to an open-ended ETF on December 20, 2025, after which QQQ began directly contributing management fees. By the end of April 2026 its preliminary AUM reached 2.3394 trillion USD, of which ETFs & Index Strategies accounted for 701.4 billion USD and the QQQ product line alone for 440.3 billion USD; Q1 2026 AUM stood at 2.1595 trillion USD.
