Samsung Biologics Co.,Ltd., together with its subsidiaries engages in the manufacturing, commercializing, distributing, and selling of biopharmaceuticals products in South Korea, Europe, the United States, and internationally. Its development services include late discovery, cell line development, process development, analytical development, and non-GMP / CGMP manufacturing. The company also offers aseptic filling, lyophilization, finishing, cold chain storage and shipping, and regulatory support services; and quality services and analytical testing services, such as IPC and release testing, stability study and testing, environmental monitoring, biosafety testing, as well as manufactures drug substance. In addition, it engages in the development and manufacture of antibody-drug conjugates and mRNA products. The company was founded in 2011 and is headquartered in Incheon, South Korea.

Samsung Biologics was established by Samsung Group in April 2011 in Songdo, Incheon, South Korea, breaking ground on Plant 1 (30,000 L) in May 2011 and reaching cGMP production in 2013. The same year it formed a joint venture with Biogen to create biosimilar firm Samsung Bioepis, whose full ownership it acquired from Biogen for $2.3 billion in 2022. The company listed on the KOSPI in November 2016 at an offering price of ₩136,000, raising about ₩2.2 trillion (~$2 billion). In November 2025 it completed a spin-off to become a pure-play CDMO, transferring Bioepis into the newly listed Samsung Epis Holdings, with both entities relisting on the KOSPI on November 24.

Samsung Biologics is the world's largest biologics CDMO, ranking first globally in capacity with roughly 785,000 L at its Songdo campus (Plants 1–5) plus 60,000 L in the United States, and targeting about 1.32 million liters by 2032. It reports a batch success rate of about 99% (versus an industry average of 90–95%), around 340 cumulative regulatory approvals, and relationships with 17 of the world's top 20 pharmaceutical companies, with cumulative orders exceeding $21.4 billion. Within its peer group it shows the highest operating margin (about 45–46%) and the fastest growth, while remaining a business-to-business contract manufacturer dependent on clients' pipelines and outsourcing decisions.
