Положение в отрасли

The Cooper Companies is a medical instruments and supplies company whose products reach more than 130 countries. In FY2025, the CooperVision segment generated $2.7438 billion of revenue (about 67% of the total) and the CooperSurgical segment $1.3486 billion (about 33%). In contact lenses, CooperVision competes directly with Johnson & Johnson Vision, Alcon, and Bausch + Lomb; in women's health and fertility, CooperSurgical competes with Vitrolife Group, Nexpring, and Fairfax Cryobank / EggBank, with device-level overlap against Johnson & Johnson, Baxter, Medtronic, and Hologic. The company's MiSight 1 day is disclosed as the first and only FDA-approved product shown to slow the progression of myopia in children, and it has also been approved in China and Japan. Sources of competitive advantage include repeat-purchase demand and the switching costs created once complex lenses are successfully fitted, brand and clinical trust, broad SKU and parameter coverage, silicone hydrogel manufacturing, global distribution channels, and medical-device regulatory approvals; no single customer accounted for more than 10% of revenue in 2023, 2024, or 2025.
