Its domestic network centered on core hubs in Atlanta, Detroit, Minneapolis-St. Paul, and Salt Lake City, as well as coastal hub positions in Boston, Los Angeles, New York-LaGuardia, New York-JFK, and Seattle; and international network centered on hubs and market presence in Amsterdam, Bogota, Lima, Mexico City, London-Heathrow, Paris-Charles de Gaulle, Santiago (Chile), Sao Paulo, Seoul-Incheon, and Tokyo. It also provides aircraft maintenance and engineering support, repair, and overhaul services; and vacation packages. The company operates through a fleet of approximately 1,314 aircraft. After the pandemic, Delta prioritized repairing its balance sheet, reducing total debt and finance lease obligations from about $26.9 billion at the end of 2021 to roughly $23.0 billion (2022), $20.1 billion (2023), $16.2 billion (2024), and about $14.1 billion at the end of 2025, while restoring its dividend in 2023. In January 2026, Delta signed an order for 30 Boeing 787-10 aircraft with additional purchase options.

Cirium rated it North America's most on-time airline in 2025 for the fifth consecutive year, at 80.9% on-time.
